Gaming - help needed finding easy computer games

I need an easy enough game to play on my PC.

Newer versions of my old games are too hard and frustrating for me. I loved Sim Theme Park (the first one where you don't have "quests"). I loved the first The Sims (before it became hard to keep them alive). I played Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and it was easy enough for me not to give up but just barely.

So, I'm looking for games that are adultish, but easy. Does anyone have any ideas?

We've been having a similar issue with our Xbox 360. We bought it ostensibly for Kinect, and at least a few of those games are "easy" (though perhaps a bit too taxing on our aging knees and ankles), but for the sit-down games, we've struggled. Alan Wake is compelling, but very hard (for us). Fable 3 is a bit easier, but still not as totally satisfying as I'd like in that regard. I'm not sure if Fable 3 is available for the PC, but if it is, you may find it within your "easy" category, since we found the most recent Harry Potter game on the Xbox 360 a bit too much to keep track of.

Thanks Bicker. I'll look at the games you mentioned. Good to know that Kinnect isn't necessarily as I did that with Wii last year: bought one and now never use it.
