The games at OHana...

Are they for just little kids or teenagers too?

It's basically just pushing a pineapple around with a broom. I doubt a teenager would be too interested in it.
ETA: Coconut, not pineapple LOL

My older one is in 6th grade and she played in the coconut races at our visit to 'Ohana a few months ago. While she was one of the older ones, she wasn't the only one who looked middle school age. High school is probably pushing it though...I don't think we saw anyone that looked 9th grade or higher.

They didn't do any games the entire time we were there in December, so you may not have to worry about it!

My DD16 led the fish parade around Makahiki at Aulani last summer, sooo....LOL

In the recent review on the DIS Dining Show, they commented that there were no games that evening. I think they said it was a later reservation (~8:30pm) so perhaps that had something to do with it.

We just ate there last week with an 8:10 ADR. We didn't have any games because we had the fireworks at 9. The meats were slow coming out so we didn't leave until around 10.

Has anyone been there recently and eaten before 8:00? Did they still have the coconut races? Are the ukulele players still there? These things still happened during our late January trip but I heard today on a podcast that they might have changed since then.

If so, I will want to give my dd a heads up as the coconut races are one of her favourite parts about dining at 'Ohana.

I've been there multiple times and love it when that woman on the mic isn't there. My gosh - she's annoying. Love the food though!

We just dined there in April (early) and they had the coconut races then. They've shortened their 'race track' from the last time we were there!! Didn't last long at all - and for the record, actually were no children in it above the ages of 5-6 that night.

Was a little apprehensive at first as our table was right beside it, but it was over so fast, and there were no issues with 'loose' coconuts or brooms!! LOL

It seemed way scaled down from when the 'lady' was directing it - not sure why.
