Qantas fly out of DFW direct to either Sydney or Melbourne. I understand that they do it for about 18 - 20 hours. But the Flying Kangaroo can be expensive.

United, V Australia and Air New Zealand will fly out of LAX to Australia. It's 14 hours from LAX to MLB.

When you do decide to come, make sure you come to Melbourne for a DisMeet. We can take pictures and post.
