If we don't do stay and screem, what is the best game plan for doing the houses. Is it best that once the gates open you head to a certain area? Like the back of the park and work your way to the front.

Are you alteast going to buy express passes?

If you are not going to do stay and scream or express passes, your game plan will be that you will be standing in LONG, LONG lines for most of the night. If this is the case, pick a couple of houses that you really want to do, and aim for those.

when are you going?
non peak night, peak night, early in the season?

if you are going later in the season, you can check some of the boards that talk about HHN and see where the "best, can't miss" houses are located.

that can be one guide for where to start.

do get the epp.
it is worth it's weight in gold

I am buying express passes and will be going on two non peek nights.

Last year we had express and went on a Sunday night, but it was still very crowded and we didn't have time to do every house. I thought that maybe there could be a trick to getting ahead of the crowds..

It's a great idea to have the EP's but if you really want to get ahead of the crowds, S & S is a must! Try to do that if you can...you won't regret it.

My problem with doing stay and scream is that I have a 6 year old, who wants to do HHN. But I thought it would be best to run him over to Disney's Camp Simba. Unless I bring my 6 year old, to HHN I can't find a way to stay in the park. It really stinks.

Ah...I see your problem. A six year old is definately too young to do HHN...I'm going opening night and can give you some pointers on the houses and a touring plan if that will help.

you are getting the EPs! GOOD! You should be fine then, don't worry that you wont get to see everything.

Its a little early to start on your plan of attack! lol. Once the event maps are out, there will be more information and a lot more people talking about how they are going to do HHN.

I will not be much help in this aspect. We always go with a group of friends, and I just follow them. My job is to keep an eye out for the drink stands! lol.

I'd be quite interested to know where people will be heading as soon as we get access to the park.....

Will all the houses be open during S & S?

No...they'll pick a house near the holding area (wherever it's going to be this year) and that's the house the S & S people will do before the gates open.

So only 1 house will be open during S & S?

Yes...the houses open at different times anyway but the S & S house will open around 5:45pm and by the time you're done that one, the next one should open around 6pm.

Coolio :)

some years there were 2-3 houses open for the s&s guests.

there will be 2 houses open right away once the park is cleared out and the holding area is releasing the guests.

as metro said, 6ish another house will be ready.

info gets passed around in september.
wait and make your game plan then if you are going in the begining of the season.

check out other websites for more info on it
that is where a lot of us homies find out prior to opening night.
