I'll be there in just over a week!! :cool1: I am hiring a babysitter for one morning, so that I can ride Gringotts! :lmao: I am toying with either going ahead of the babysitter and my 2 year old in her stroller, and leaving them to enjoy Diagon Alley by themselves, or bringing my DD and babysitter in line with me and them sitting in the rider swap room. I would do that if my DD is not feeling very comfortable with the babysitter. My question is this though- i'll have to park the stroller (quickly!!) before hopping on the ride. Is this easily doable?

And, a related question regarding strollers in Diagon Alley. One afternoon I plan to let my DD take her nap in her stroller (she takes great stroller naps) while I peruse Diagon Alley & its shops. I'm hoping strollers will be allowed inside most, if not all of them? And getting to the interactive wand spots - stroller accessible?

Thank you!

I don't have a definitive answer, but I didn't see a single stroller in the Gringotts line at any time. Not sure if they would allow it. but just I didn't see it doesn't mean its not allowed. There is space in the queue line and folks can do a wheelchair transfer. It's a LONG queue, so the only place you can ditch it would be with rider swap.

There are lots of interactive wand spots outside, so stroller would be fine for that.

I think if its first thing in the morning, strollers would be okay In the stores, but by the time the stores fill up with people, navigating would be hard. They are small with narrow spaces. And while some stores would be safe, I do remember glassware on shelves the perfect height of a stroller in the Wizarding Equipment store. But probably fine in the wand shop and Quidditch stores. And a couple others. But, man, I wouldn't want to be pushing a stroller in the Weasley boys shop! it was hard enough to walk in there! Mid afternoon stores may be busy. There is a lot to see through the windows, the architecture is awesome, and there is a show outside, all things you could do with a stroller in the afternoon. Or get ice cream or go to Leaky Cauldon. I probably spent 2-3 hours just enjoying the atmosphere and some ice cream. So, you might not want to take the stroller into the stores, when they are crowded, but before or after that nap, you could carry her in. Basically, with a lot of patience on your part, you can see everything with toddler along. You will get treated rudely with a stroller in a packed store, but if you can not let that bother you, you'll enjoy it.

Diagon Alley also lightened up with people some as the evening got late..meaning 8-9 pm. The wand spots might not work as well then, though.

Good luck! You sound like a huge fan and the babysitter idea was good thinking, so I think you'll get everything in!

Thanks! Sorry I didn't mean bring the stroller into the line - I'm wondering about parking it quickly before hopping in line :)

Thanks for the info!

Okay, so, I totally did not see stroller parking for Gringotts. But it may have been there. Remember this, at EE, the line queues up outside DA, the moves to the bank entrance, then inside the bank. I think someone will tell you when you have to park it, and I think if the babysitter stays in line, I think they might let you join back up with her. It may have been at the locker point. So, you could probably ask for directions about that once you are in the queue outside DA or the bank. Or, at least at my hotel, the folks at the theme park desk probably know if you want to ask the day before.

And hopefully someone who had a stroller will report instead of me!
