I am in charge of games for a party tonight and we're playing the "friendship newlywed game" - it's just what it sounds like, like the newlywed game, but friends play.

I need suggestions for one of the answer sets - I'm trying to think of someone everyone thinks of as the "girl/guy next door":

If I had to compare my friend to a famous person,
I would say she was most like:

Pamela Anderson/Matthew McConaghey
Oprah Winfrey/Dr. Phil
Martha Stewart/McGuvyer

Suggestions? For demographics, the party is mostly 40-ish people!

what you're asking..

"wholesome" famous people?

My first thoughts were Jennifer Aniston and Matt Damon.

So far you have: troublemakers, know-it-alls and problem solvers?

"girl next door" immediately makes me think of Reese Witherspoon

How about a Reese Witherspoon/Paul Rudd combination? Paul has been called one of the nicest people in Hollywood. Doesn't hurt that he's good-looking (and in a new movie with Reese... LOL)

Or Reese/Hugh Jackman... he is also very well-respected for being humble and nice.

Sandra Bullock also comes to mind.

Girl/Guy next door makes me think of who would be the nicest and best to get along with. Not like I know any of them :lmao:

guys... Adam Sandler, Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, Tom Hanks, John Travolta

girls.... Amy Adams, Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock

Ooh, I'm thinking Reese and Tom Hanks... thanks for the great ideas - we were stumped!

oops. I missed the folks next door. Chuck norris and PSA are not your typical next door folks!
