Game Boy Adv. vs. DS

My DD wants the new DS (pink) for Christmas. She has a GameBoy Advance and a ton of games that between her and her brother we have collected over the years.

We told the kids that due to our Disney trip their presents were going to be limited and I wanted a short condensed list.

DD complied, the only thing on the list is the DS.

For those of you that went from the GB to the DS what are the advantages and is it worth the $130 to upgrade?

For dd7, the pink gameboy ds lite was the top thing on her list. I bought it months ago and I have heard that they are now tough to find...??

The ds lite is a much better game system than the advanced - two screens instead of one.

I also bought her the ds so I could get MINE back!!
