We have done two 4 day Wonder cruises and are considering a 7 day Eastern. My DW is a hopeless gambler and will have to have a casino fix! Just kidding, though we both like to visit a casino on vacation. We used the Paradise in Nassau but are not sure if gambling is allowed at any of the Eastern cruise ports. Does anyone know?

I know there are casinos on St. Maarten. My dad and husband are hoping to while away a few hours (and dollars!) in them on our October cruise.

There are no casinos on St Thomas or St John. There are casinos on Dutch Sint Maarten but not on French Saint Martin. Fortunately the ship docks at Philipsburg on the Dutch side.

Most of the downtown Philipsburg casinos are rather seedy-looking with the exception of one... the Coliseum Casino, which is NOT on the main drag, but is probably a $3 taxi ride from the ship, looked fine from the outside. But you know what they say about judging a book by its cover...

The nicest casino on the island is reported to be the Princess Casino at Port de Plaisance.
