I was trying to find times for the new projection show in Galaxy’s Edge and saw that no times were posted past April 19th. This article was quite helpful. There will potentially be a dessert party with reserved spots on the raised area above Docking Bay 7. I hope that will be in place before my trip because I will definitely go for that one. It looks amazing!

This is so exciting! Thanks for sharing. I am hoping to reserve the Docking Bay dessert party when we go in June. The visual effects look stunning...I can only imagine how cool it is in person!

I don't know if the dessert party will be similar to the Fire of the Rising Moon event. If so, it would be a definite pass. Terrible food, ok show that left you feeling there should have been more w/ a view that didn't require the elevated patio. Still, the new show does seem miles above in superiority to what I experienced last year. I'd be very suspicious of the food...I'd love to see photos of what they're planning to offer.

Oooh, that’s good to know. I get a bit anxious trying to find a spot for shows, so this was my alternative. I don’t know if it will be worth it for me then. Hmm. I’ll have to think about it 🤔

The new show is 10 minutes in length. I was there on Sunday and it seemed crowded when people were seated on the ground. Once they had everyone stand for the show, there was plenty of room. The show is elevated so you most certainly don't need a front row seat. In fact, standing towards the back makes it easier to watch because you don't need to crane your neck.

According to the article, "The “Shadows of Memory” projection show will continue after the Season of the Force seasonal event comes to an end on May 11."

Also,

On some nights, “Shadows of Memory” plays at 8:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. before and after “Fire of the Rising Moons.” On other nights, it plays in place of the 9:30 p.m. fireworks show. On a few nights, it does all three.

Here’s the current schedule for “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” nightly projection show:

  • Monday, March 31: 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 1: 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Are they not showing fireworks on April 4 & 5? They can't air Shadows of Memory at the same time as the fireworks, can they? Which audio would they play?

I'm not a huge fan of OCRegister - so often, they're just pulling info the same way we are.

There's not a 9:30pm showing this weekend. That was an error on the Daily Calendar - they've fixed it. (The schedule keeps changing - I think DLR is still trying to figure everything out.)

I would advise everyone to check the Daily Calendar for the best info on showtimes.

Would you recommend trying to stand somewhere between Olga’s Cantina and Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities facing the Millennium Falcon?

It might be a smidge better to be more towards Docking Bay 7, maybe right in front of Dok-Ondar's.

I was basically at the beginning of the walkway that leads to Oga's entrance, and there was a tree blocking the rightmost part of the show. But if you go too far to the left, you might miss some of the stuff over the Millennium Falcon.
