Is it possible to use my GAD voucher to purchase an AP using my DVC discount as well? Also, can I do this at DTD as I'm arriving later in the evening and have an early breakfast the next day. Thanks!

Yes, you can apply the value of the GAD ticket to the DVC AP. No, you can't do this at DTD. GAD vouchers have to be redeemed at Will Call at one of the four main parks.

Will Call will open about 30 minutes prior to the first guests being allowed into the park, including those with early ADRs.

When you say "will call" do you mean guest relations? Because just last week we used our GAD voucher to apply to the value of my DH's AP/DVC renewal. We handed the CM at the International gateway Guest Relations window DH's GAD voucher, expiring AP, Blue DVC Mem. card, driver's license and cc and in a matter of 5 minutes all was done and my DH had his new DVC/AP for 15 months. We did not have to turn in the GAD voucher to will call, nor did we have to get a one day ticket and enter the park and then upgrade. We did it all at the time. I'm guessing since everything I handed the CM had my DH's name on it, there was no doubt that the GAD voucher was DH's.

Epcot IG is an unusual situation. There are only a total of four windows there; often only two are open. So they handle everything.

Like Cheshire Figment said, the IG is a bit unusual in that the same windows are ticket windows, will call and guest relations. At the front gates and at TTC, there should be a window marked Will Call. Other people have said they redeemed at Guest Relations - this would be the option if the Will Call window was not open for some reason.

Since you were getting APs that would be dated the date you redeemed your vouchers, it wouldn't be necessary for you (or the OP) to have to enter the park first before upgrading. Disney appears to be a bit stricter with MYW upgrades, since the person redeeming the voucher could theoretically leave with an unused MYW ticket if allowed to complete the upgrade before entering the parks. Some people have reported being able to do the upgrade outside the turnstiles, but the GAD ticket is supposed to be used for admission prior to upgrade.
