GAD upgrade question?

We were going to purchase a 5 day MYW tickets thru CAA (Canadian Automobile Association). We will be using our GAD voucher on our first day so we will only be needing a 4 day ticket. However, the cost difference between a 4 and a 5 day MYW tickets is approx. $2 thru CAA. My question is if I purchase the tickets at the park, do they take the price off of a 1 day ticket from the price of a 5 MYW pass or would I just be purchasing a 4 day MYW ticket. Hope that makes sense. Just wondering if I should do the fastpass option although our kids are young and we won't be going on all the big rides.

You will get full value of a one day MYW ticket (currently $79 adult) against the price of a five day ticket ($228) so it would be $149 plus tax of $9.69.

Thanks for getting back to me! Just another question. Could my DH and I use our GAD voucher say at MK, upgrade our tickets and use our son's GAD voucher for a fastpass at the park the same day? (we have his MYW pass already).

Yes. He has his multi-day pass and will exchange his certificate for three Fastpass Exchange Cards, one for each member of his party. There is no requirement that all members of the party have multi-day tickets, only the person exchanging the certificate.

You and your husband will exchange your certificates for the one day passes and, after entering the park, can go to Guest Relations to upgrade them.

Great! So, I just want to get this clear, I redeem my GAD vouchers at Will Call outside of the park and then upgrade my tickets at Guest Relations inside the park? And if I want a total of 5 days at the parks including my GAD ticket, I am upgrading to a 5 day MYW rather than a 4 day MYW ticket?
