I did a search, but didn't find the answer to my question - maybe you guys can help.

We are planning to be in Florida December 11-18. Each family member has a GAD pass to redeem. I have read here that they can be used as a "credit" toward a multi-day ticket - do I have that right? So, it would be approximately a $79 discount.

My question is about the last day you are able to use the tickets - which is December 15 - if we purchase our multi-day tickets when we arrive on December 11 - are we in the clear as far as the expiration day is concerned? It just dawned on me that there was a deadline to use the tickets - and now I'm concerned.

Thanks for sharing your expertise!

You should be fine. Your first day is your GAD day. You're buying your other days. You are right, your multiday pass would be discounted the first day, $79.

What a fun time of year to go. I really want to go down there for the holiday events, but miss the crowds, so you are going at the ideal time for that.

Yes, you are correct, the current adult 1 day 1 park price is approximately $79 with children 3-9 being slightly less. You have to redeem your GAD voucher with every member of your party present at the ticket window outside the park, but it has to be at the park, the hotels can't do it.

Make sure you use that GAD voucher by December 15, or it will not be valid or accepted.

If I am thinking correctly, you have to use your ticket to get in and then go to Guest Relations inside the park to upgrade it to a multiday ticket.

I know CheshireFigment has a link in the signature with everything you could possibly want to know about tickets. Also, one of the boards, perhaps the theme park board, has the info there in a sticky. LOTS of GREAT info in that post.

Have a great trip!!!

This is what has been previously reported, but when we exchanged our GAD vouchers in March, both at MK and at AK - the CM at the will call window allowed us to trade in our certificates and upgrade to multi-day tickets before we entered the park.

How many park day tickets do you need? If you are purchasing 4 or 5, and plan on using the GAD for the 5th or 6th - it's really not worth exchanging the GAD for a ticket. Once you purchase at least 4 park tickets, adding a 5th or 6th or 7th day only costs you about $3 a person.

If that's a crowded time of year, perhaps GAD fastpasses might be a better value.

Actually, if you trade in the GAD before purchasing a multi-day ticket, it is always worth $79 (or whatever the value of a 1-day ticket is). When you upgrade to however many days, you still get the full 1-day value.

Ahh, I see. Ok, that makes sense!

If you have a package it will not work, as you cannot combine the GAD tickets with a package ticket.

If you are "room only" or offsite without tickets purchased in advance follow these steps in order.

1. Take your vouchers to the "Will-Call" window outside the Park (or at TTC). Exchange the vouchers for one day GAD tickets. (Make sure you have the required identification)

2. Enter the Park.

3. Go to Guest Relations and upgrade to the tickets that you want. You will be given a credit towards the new ticket for a one day, one park, ticket.

Thank you! Thank you! We are actually staying off-site - I know!! Although I think we will be very happy in our Windsor Hills 3 bedroom townhome (with splash pool) for $499 for the week! If not OP - at least in Parks!!

Thanks for all of the replies - you have alleviated my fears!
