Hi! My family and I have the GAD vouchers that we're trading in later this month. The problem is that we're having trouble deciding which park to go to! (MK or EPCOT) Can we add park hopping to the ticket we get for the GAD voucher and if so, how much is park hopping? We're FL residents if that makes any difference. Thanks!

ETA: I found that the park hopper option is $54.00 per ticket. Anyone know if I can add it to a GAD ticket? Thanks!

Yes, you can add park hopping to a GAD ticket. You should be able to add it at the FL resident rate, which is $27 per ticket plus tax. The $54 per ticket price is for the rest of us. ;)

You can also upgrade your GAD ticket to a multi-day FL resident ticket if that works better for you.

Thanks so much! I have to convince DH and $27 will be much easier to swallow than $54.

I'm the problem...we could all go to EPCOT for the day and be perfectly happy except I have a HUGE soft spot for the MSEP!!! Disney really did me in when they brought it back to Florida!

You can wait to add hopping when you get to MK (or as you are leaving Epcot if you prefer) - you don't need to do it when you redeem the vouchers. So if you decide to stay at Epcot all day, you haven't paid in advance.

That is really good to know...thanks! :)

Hmm...maybe CF can clarify, but I'm wondering if the fact that the GAD ticket is not a FL Resident MYW ticket might affect the cost of adding the PH option? I know you should be able to upgrade it to a multi-day FL resident ticket, and then PH would be cheaper, so if you are going more than one day the issue it irrelevant.

It looks like the the FL Resident 1-day is the same base price, so you can't probably add it for just $27, I don't now if there are extra steps for the CM to do it...

I wondered that too, but in the ticket sticky, CF lists the one-day FL resident ticket as the same price as a one-day MYW ticket, plus he lists the hopper option as $27 - seems like you should be able to add hopping for $27 if you have FL ID, upgrading a one day ticket to a one day FL resident hopper. Might be wrong, though!

After you have entered a Park go in to Guest Relations and tell them you want to upgrade your GAD ticket to a Florida Resident One Day Hopper. It would be $28.56 including tax. And it would be $85.20 to upgrade to a Florida Resident Three Day Hopper which would be good for six months.
