GAD Fastpasses in the late evenings?

Can someone please share whether they have been able to redeem and use (fastpass machines were open) when entering the Magic Kingdom late in the evenings? Have you had any issues with the machines being shut down or anything like that? Thanks!

No one has ever reported being unable to get the GAD Fastpasses late.

As for using them, there have been cases where all the FP kiosks have been closed, notably at Space Mountain and TSM. You need to ask the CM to use your GAD card. Sometimes they will simply backdoor you or otherwise accommodate you rather than open up a kiosk (in which case you save a credit... ). But one kiosk should remain open with a sign on it.

Just returned from WDW and we saved our GAD fastpasses for the evening park. We did not have any trouble getting the passes even with all the fastpass machines closed. They always had one open for GAD passes. We did get comments from some CMs before they realized we had the GAD passes. It was also confusing for other guests as they watched us get fastpasses and they could not.

I have 2 (of 8) days that I planned to hop, and that seemed wasteful, but I like your idea of "GADing" the hopped park!

A whole new level of planning has begun...
