I'm thinking this looks like a pretty darn good deal...but I hate this part of trying to plan - trying to figure out the $ part of things.... the best deal out there

Seems like its better than the giftcard promo...as I see it the gc promo requires paying full price so it seems way more expensive but maybe i'm looking @ things wrong:confused3 (looking @ staying @ PO) and maybe 5 days

It's so much easier when its free dining - cause that's a no brainer when its FREE food!

Usually any time WDW is offering something "free" with a package (dining, gift card, etc..) you're paying rack rate for the room. Definitely crunch the numbers each way to see which makes the most sense for your particular situation.

Just thinking out loud, but the upside I can see to the 40% off room only is that if you have a GAD tix you can use/upgrade, you're saving on both sides - room and tix. :thumbsup2

To get Free Dining, you have to pay for at least a 1 day park ticket (plus rack rate).

I'd expect that if you looked closely at all the different offers and crunched the numbers, there probably isn't much difference in the end cost.

As said, Free Dining requires a rack-rate package purchase - so you're paying full price for the room and tickets, but you get free dining.

A 40% pin code on the room could potentially save you just as much to pay for the dining itself.

Same thing for the gift card offers.

I think the real variable in the offers will depend on the number of people on the reservation. Free dining would represent a greater savings for a family of four in a single room than a family of two.
