Hi,
I was talking to a friend who is at WDW now, and they were saying that their ASD son is struggling due to having to stand in the main queues. They have been told by a CM that the GAC system has "just changed". I don't know whether this is a test or what, but this doesn't sound very good if its adversely affecting their experience.

Has anyone heard of such changes being implemented?

We are going in December with our two ASD daughters and just need to know what to expect so that we can plan accordingly.

Thanks :)

Changes has been in the works and were supposes to start in August. It the supposedly got pushed back to October. If the rules have changed I wish they would post it somewhere or make some public announcement.

There are changes planned, to reportedly begin around October 1.

This thread has the information we know (which is little right now).

It will be updated as I find out more. I m asking that people send me a message if they hear/experience anything new.

There are some things that are recently being done more from what I have read. These were always 'part' of handling of people with disabilities, but were not consistently done.
They include:
- asking people to wait in the regular line for some attractions if the regular line wait is 15 - 20 minutes or less

- giving a return time to come back to the Fastpass line if the wait in the regular line is longer.
