For the first time in my life, I am considering getting one of these.
I have severe lower back pain radiating through my buttocks down my leg, at times all the way through my foot with tingling. I've had all sorts of tests and injections, and nothing seems to help.
My pain is at it's worst in the morning when I first get up, and when I am stressed. As happy as we all are to be in DW, it can be stressful, particularly while waiting in lines.
Walking generally is not a problem for me, but as soon as I stop and have to wait for something, the pain just shoots down my leg. I am taking neurontin (which the dr. says won't start to work for 6-8 weeks
) and vicodin (which helps the pain somewhat, but at least I'm happy - as in I have a nice buzz
)
Given your experiences with both the GAC and an ECV, which do you think would be a better option for me? Like I said, walking really isn't the issue, or endurance - except when standing still.
