We have been vacationing at Disney World with my DS who has Autism/ADHD for the past 5 years...we always get a GAC and have had nothing but wonderful experiences.
We would like to try out Universal to see Harry Potter...and I am not getting a straight answer from them about them having a similar type of situation with a GAC...this was part of my response from them
Our resort has been carefully designed, and our staff specifically trained, to provide equal accessibility to all of our guests. As a courtesy to our guests with special needs, various types of assistance passes are available. Please visit Guest Services upon your arrival so that we may arrange to meet your individual requirements. I also recommend that you visit http://www.universalorlando.com/Images/RidersGuideUpdateFlyer_tcm13-10940.pdf for our Riders Guide to Rider Safety and Guests with Disabilities.
Anyone have experience with an ASD kid at Universal? I don't want to spend all that money to get into the park and then end up having a terrible time!
Thanks in advance!
