My daughter wears hearing aids on both sides. She has progressive hearing loss. These aids do help but not all the time since her loss is progressive in nature they are a tool they do not provide her with complete hearing. We have been to the sign language perfomances at WDW and she does lip read as well. Is there any stamp available to get her closer at shoes to lip read? We don't always make it for the sign language shows since there schedule is not always the same as ours. By the way we have always had terrible luck with the hearing devices at WDW. We have yet to get one that actually works consistantly. I read they had recently made these devices better any input on that would also be helpful. Thanks :)

Yes, there is. Simply explain this to the CM that she needs to sit in the front for shows due to being hard of hearing. UNfortunately I find it is still difficult to speech read at shows because the performers are moving of the time. One reason I prefer to go to the interpreted shows.

Thank you :) The CM I need to tell is when I ask for the GAC or at each show.. ?

Just have it put on the GAC and then show it to the CM when entering the shows. They have special seating up front for those with needs. At the Lion King show in AK the kids up front usually get picked to be in the closing part of the show. My DS gets such a kick out of it, but we have to tell them he has autism and to hold his hand.

wishing you well, April
