FYI- MK opening today (Th)

I just wanted to report that today the park posted opening was 8am, they did not let us go past the rope at the main train station (just past the turnstiles) until 7:45, then held us at Frontierland gate until 8:00. This is different from what I experienced last summer when they let us to Frontierland 30 minutes or more before opening.

That is standard procedure for an 8AM opening time.

They open Main St. to guests an hour early (starting at 8AM) on days when MK has a 9AM regular hours opening time.

This is different from what I experienced last summer when they let us to Frontierland 30 minutes or more before opening.

I don 't know what that was all about.
They virtually never open the MK attractions ("lands")
until the posted opening time (regular or AM EMH time.)

Yup, this is not news. Even at 9:00 you shouldn’t be allowed past the hub though, not sure what was going on the day they let you into Frontierland early but that is unusual.

I guess I’ve only been here for 9am openings! Previously they didn’t let us in Frontierland, they just held us at the gate to it. Same as they did yesterday, it was just earlier. I could have sworn that they let us into the hub at 8:30 because I know we got a spot near the front and then various party members took turns going to the bathroom and to the bakery with no trouble getting back on time or negotiating through the crowd. This time we would not have had time for all that.

I was just kind mad excited to potentially have some info to share after all the info I’ve gotten from here, but I guess it turns out that I didn’t have any after all! Drats!
