Hi everyone. Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else was wondering. I just got off the phone with Disney weddings and was told that kids do count in reference to Intimate weddings. We are going to renew our vows and are doing an Intimate Wedding. You are allowed 8 guests plus the "bride/groom". Total of 10. Even if you have a 2 year old, I was told they count all "warm bodies". Now if I go over that guest allotment, I can have a maximum of 13 guests at $100 charge each. If I have 8 guests that are adults and 2 extra guests that are children, they count toward the guest maximum, but I do not have to pay extra for them.
Hope this info helps someone.
I was under the impression that the kids didn't count towards the guests maximum. Now if my DSIS desides to come, her children will have to miss the ceremony!

Did you just talk to a sales manager? or have you booked and talked with an EM? I had an intimate and my nephew did NOT count. The sales manager might not be able to authorize that but an EM can.

I was told that my DH2B's stepbrother and stepsister would not count. My EM told me that as long as they are under 10 years old they do not. When I asked a Sales Manager about that she told me that it was up to my EM if they would count or not. I think they were just trying to sell you on a custom, IMO.

Well I am so glad to hear that there is a way around this and that the EM can deside and help me better!!! Thanks for that info. I spoke to someone who I am guessing was a sales mngr. just answering my questions. I can't book yet because they need to have my confirmation #'s for my resort stay so I can do the add on package. I am a DVC member and I have to wait till 7 months out to book my stay at BWV b/c it's not my home resort. Anyway, I'm sure once I book I'll get it all straightened out.
