Dh just forwarded me this e-mail he received. Seems Universal is extending their military salute passes through March! Perfect for us... we may spend some extra time there over Disney now.
UNIVERSAL ORLANDO MILITARY SALUTE Extension Announcement
Universal Orlando is excited to announce that our 2009 Military
Salute program will be extended through March 26, 2010!
As part of the Universal OrlandoMilitary Salute program,Universal is continuing the offer of one (1) free ticket to all US Military members to include Active Duty, Retirees, National Guard and Reservists with a valid military ID.
Program Details
* Dates:
December 19 - March 26, 2010; Tickets must be fully used by March 26, 2010

Complimentary ticket for military members:
2-Park Unlimited Admission (7-Day). This ticket will arrive in the ITR/ITT Offices as unactivated. It will be activated at any front gate ticket window at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure with a valid military ID.
Please note that this program extension does not offer Military personnel that have already taken advantage of the Salute program a 2nd complimentary ticket, it only extends the timeframe for use for personnel that have not taken advantage of the offer yet or have not used the tickets they have picked up to date.
* Companion ticket for family & friends:
2-Park Unlimited Admission (7-Day) at the suggested retail price of $94.00. Companion tickets may be purchased by familial dependents with a valid military ID without the military member being present. There is no limit on the quantity that can be purchased.
* 2-Park, Unlimited Admission ticket entitlements:
Valid for admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for 7 consecutive days and CityWalk venues for 7 consecutive nights.
Tickets must be signed and used by the same person on any and all days.
* Sales Locations: Participating ITR/ITT Offices and Shades of Green Resort. Guest Services at Universal Orlando will not have these tickets available - only military locations will have an inventory.
* An official press release to the public will follow soon.
