FYI- final payment

we have WDW trip booked for 9/10. I noticed that our final payment was due by 8/11. I know final payment is usually due by the 45 day mark so I called to check on that. I was told that as of 1/1/16 final payment is now due by the 30 day mark. Just figured I would share that info

Does that only apply to packages? I just made a room only ressie and my balance is only due the day we check in.
