FYI...Borders Book Store Disney discounts...

Just wanted to pass along...as a Borders member (meaning I have the free card to get "points" when I buy books), I received an e-mail today for a new, free program called "Borders Perks." My e-mail and my zip gave me access to web discounts at different retailers/services, including Disney vacations. I checked out the discount and the link took me to a site that's geared towards corporate discounts at the Disney parks and cruises (hotels in and around the parks, car rentals, free days on park passes). Although I've already booked my package and got a good deal, I would definitely check the Borders Perk site in the future just to compare.

Although I haven't confirmed this, I would think it'd be as easy as signing up for the free Borders card at a store and then looking signing up for the Perks program online...

I got this email also. I was reading the fine print if there are any hidden fees? I did not see any but want to double check.

I got the email too, and posted previously....tickets seem like they should have some sort of catch.

I didn't come across any hidden fees (yes, we're all suspicious, aren't we?). It states that it's a free program for Borders Rewards members (which is also free...hmmm). The Disney discounts seemed genuinely real...I went all the way through to the checkout process to see what add'l costs might be added on but it just charged tax.

I have a boarders card and get email coupons for book purchases, but that is it. Is there another link off that email or was it seperate?

I also am a Borders Rewards member and got the email today. Yahoo chucked the email into my spam folder, but I rescued it -- if you are a Borders Rewards member and can't find the offer, check your bulk mail folder!

I haven't decided whether to subscribe to the new service or not -- the extra email might not be worth the discounts offered.
