Very late on Thursday May 22, (nearly Friday!) we went to pick up our car from Alamo. We reserved using the Family Fun Mag. code with the free breakfast voucher. DH reminded the person at the counter and he stated that we were to pick that up in the garage. This didn't sound right, but DH figures he must know what he's doing. We get the car and head out, ask for the voucher and get a "sure you wish!" from the person at the gate. We don't move and tell her to check for us. About 20 minutes later she returns to tell us that the guy who checked us out had no idea what he was talking about--we needed to go back in and get the voucher. Ok... so very calmly I say tell him to bring it to us so we can move along--I'm not going out of the terminal, back into the terminal parking and running into the airport again. She says it will be an hour or longer before he can leave his post at the desk to do that ...afterall they are busy. Finally, I ask if I can just get this thing when I return the car (kids are not with us, we are not going to use these until June anyway). Ok no problem. So I guess my point is you are supposed to get the voucher when you are at the rental desk, if they don't give it to you ask for a manager. Sorry for venting LOL.
