Good morning!

I have a co-worker who would like to go to WDW in August with his family (family of 5) and was looking for queen size beds and possibly a suite. How big are the suites or deluxe rooms in FWL? Or does anyone have any floor plans that I can show him? He doesn't want to spend a lot and I know that FWL is the least expensive of the Deluxe resorts.

Thanks!

First off I think you're confusing Fort Wilderness with the Wilderness Lodge. So I'll assume you mean Wilderness Lodge. The Lodge has deluxe rooms that sleep 5. I've stayed in a regular room, not very big.

Go here http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_wl.htmfor a complete description of the rooms available at this resort.

Fort Wilderness will be less expensive in a cabin than a deluxe room at the WL. The WL Deluxe rooms aren't going to be cheap - it's like once you get to a Courtyard view regular room, you close in on Polynesian Resort pricing for a garden view room.

You can also try to get a garden wing at the Contemporary - well, there is now only one. :) That is cheaper than other options as well.

 Oops. You're right. I keep confusing the two.

Thanks for the info. I'll check out allearsnet.

You do not really have to go to allearsnet when we have the information available right here on our site!

Thanks! Already checked it out and printed the room rates for all the resorts. I love the way you guys broke it down! The occupancy limit in parentheses is especially helpful. I've printed it out and will give it to my co-worker to help him with his planning.

I knew I made the right decision to sign up for the DISboards last September :goodvibes !
