I noticed that a person can buy "groceries" at the FW Trading Post. We won't need too many thing but a few snacks so what would be the cheapest, the Trading Post or wegoshop? We are having dinner at the Trail's End the first night there anyway so that is not an issue, but we won't have a car so we are at the mercy of what we can either pack in the suitcases or buy there.

Thanks for your input!

If you truly just need a few things, then I think FWTP...the cost (even tough the service is great) might out price those few items.

They carry a small selection of grocery items at Ft. Wilderness and you will pay a premium!!

The only time I've actually made a grocery purchase there was when I needed milk for breakfast or maybe a loaf of bread in between trips to the grocery.

But, if you only need a few things, then it may be worth it not to go off site for the grocery store. We usually have a car so plan our grocery stop at the Winn-Dixie when we go off-site for something else or when we are driving to Downtown Disney.

I was in a similar situation. We stayed in the cabins, but since we were there for 2 weeks, I chose to use WeGoShop. If you only need a few things, though, you could get them at the Trading Post. The prices are higher, but it is convenient, and I think the store is just adorable!!!
