Hey all,

Thinking about coming down on 16 Dec for a 3 nights and going to the MVMCP. Have run into a snag. Tried to get Mil. tickets over the phone and was told that the only way to get them was at the park. Problem is don't want to drive down and not go to party.

I know that most of you would take the chance just to be at FW for a couple of nights. I agree, but the night of the 18th the rate is $114.

Hmm.... that's odd. I've never heard of someone being told they HAD to purchase their tix at the park. Even folks calling last minute were able to either print their tix out or pick them up at Will Call.

What night are you looking to go to the party?

Not sure what this might mean, but they've just extended the AP discount on MVMCP tix to every night except the last one (12/18). I take that to mean they're having a hard time selling tix in advance, meaning it's unlikely those dates will be a sell out??

Hi! We were just there a couple of weeks ago. We were also interested in purchasing the Armed Forces Salute rate VMCP tickets. We were given a flier at the front desk that stated that the discounted tickets were available at all Vacation Planning and Guest Relations Locations. Can't get them on base or at Shades of Green either. They told us that the reason that you can't purchase them over the phone was because they had to see a valid military id card. Hope it all works out for your trip!!

MVMCP military discounts are at Guest Services @ MK. We bought regular park military discount tickets at Shades of Green. We already had our MVMCP tickets and went to Guest Services at Magic Kingdom and traded them for military ones and got the difference in price refunded on the spot. CM was VERY nice!

We were there 2 weeks ago ... went to MVMCP on 11/19. Very glad we went once, but wouldn't pay the price to attend again!

We already had our MVMCP tickets and went to Guest Services at Magic Kingdom and traded them for military ones and got the difference in price refunded on the spot. CM was VERY nice!

I purchased ours over the internet not knowing there was a military discount! I just got off the phone because we had to change our dates (from the 13th to the 17th). The Castmember set up a guest service file for us- we changed the tickets to the 17th, but she put in the file that when we show our military id's at the ticket window they will refund us the differance in price! I love Disney!

Hey all,

Contacted ticket sales with the question. I was told that they would do a file and that I would get a refund of the excess. Only thing was, they wanted the confermation number of my ticket order that I didn't have because I had not gotten the tickets yet. Got on computer while on phone, and ordered tickets, all the while answering questions concering by ticket order that i didn't have. Finally, got info from WDW that I had tickets. At almost the same time the lady said she found my order. Talk about quick!!!
