FW Family Picnic?

Will someone please help me with a few FW questions? My family and one of my best friends and her family are going to be vacationing together at the All Star Movies. I told her I would watch her 2 daughters for the day so she and her husband could have a date day. I've read about some sort of family picnic that is only held in the summer time at FW. I think it is called something like the Backyard Family BBQ. Can anyone help me out? Have you been, what is the food like, are there activities for the girls, can we go toast marshmellows and see the movie with Chip and Dale afterwards, are characters at the picnic? I am not talking about Hop De Doo Revue but something different I read about somewhere. Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.

I do not know when you are going but you have to call Disney to make reservations for the Backyard BBQ.They have things like chicken,ribs,corn on the cob,baked beans,potato salad,dessert.It is good food and they have a band and some of the characters come and you can dance if you want to.I do not think it is held every night so again you need to call. The campfire is held at a different area of the campground and is lots of fun.Chip and Dale visit and there is also a sing-a-long and you can roast marshmellos.You can bring your own along with sticks or you can buy them there. Later they show a movie.Depending on what time of the year you go, they show one or two movies each night. Have fun.
