We are having a Family Gathering May 2005. I am trying to plan some FAMILY activities to make this trip very memorable.

Do you think we could attend the 8:00 pm campfire sing-a-long and then attend the 9:30 pm Hoop Dee Doo Review?

I know all the internal buses go to the Hoop Dee Doo. Looks like the Orange bus goes to Meadows trading post. After the campfire (at least the sing-a-long and marshmellows) can you pick-up a bus that would then take you to Pioneer Hall?

The other Family activities we are planning are:

Illuminations or Wishes Cruise
Ice Cream Social @ Epcot's Garden Grill

Any other suggestions?

10 adults
4 kids (8, 3, 2 and 6 months)

Only 3 of us have been to WDW. Everyone else this is their first trip!

Yes I think you will be able to make both, just be sure you stop by the ticket office before you go to the fire so you dont have to leave early. If you post this question on the campground forum ( farther down the list). you will get responses from people who have done it.

If you just go to the campfire for the singing and leave before the movie, that would probably work. (I'm assuming the set-up is still the same.) You might also want to avoid the s'mores at the campfire to save room for that dinner! I've never been to the 9:30 Hoop dee doo. We've gone twice (once to 1st seating and once to the 2nd). Are you going to the last one to get a discount? If not, I would ask why you'd go so late to the dinner with kids.

We dine late at WDW because we are West Coasters. So, 9:30 is really 6:30 our time. We have the 8 year old. The little ones will probably have a messed up schedule because of all the activities anyway. Their naps will probably be later, etc. Yes! The discount sounds great when you are paying for 10 adults and 2 kids!

We might try the Campfire on arrival day for everyone! People will arrive at different times and we will eat dinner @ home. So, I figure a nice intro. to WDW and some characters might be a campfire, marshmellows, and a movie!

Seems like FW has a lot of FAMILY activities the kids would LOVE!
