Booked for next April, 2002. I can't get enough info about the cabins, any info.....good or bad is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanx:bounce:

The cabins are fantastic. We really enjoy them. You get a living room with full kitchen area. Refrig, stove, microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher. All the utensils, dishes and ots and pans needed for 6. You need to bring the food including condiments. Table seating 6. Sofa and chairs, TV with VCR, phone and pull down Murphy bed. Bathroom is decent sized. Bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds, closet. No TV in bedroom.
Deck has a picnic table and grill.

lisapooh - every time we have stayed in the cabins there has been a tv in the bedroom - no vcr with that tv though. Have things changed in the last 6 months?

We stayed in a cabin in late Feb. of '01. It was fantastic!! We loved our stay and were not all "on top of each other" like you are in a hotel room

When we were there, the bedroom had a t.v. also. This helped out when DH and I wanted to watch something and the kids wanted to watch something else!

You will not be sorry you made reservations at FW. If you have any specific questions, ask and I'll try to help.:bounce: :p

It was there at the beginning of this month in the new handicapped cabins and there was only one tv. When I asked I was told they are no longer providing 2 tvs. If this is only in handicapped cabins I want to know about it because I will file a complaint. If they have still have 2 in the standard cabins then they should have the same amenities in a handicapped cabin.

lisapooh, I recently read somewhere that when they changed all the homes over to cabins they put an extra TV and VCR in these cabins, along with a larger, wooden deck attached to the outside. There might have been other things added, safe, hairdryer, ironing board? I think I read this on the Spencer Family Disney Page.

If this is true, then you might want to request one of the 'newer' cabins the next time you visit.
