I've stayed there, but not with six people. We also did not take advantage of the movies or camp fire activities.
When I went I was 21 and traveling with my parents. We picked the cabins so they could have the bedroom and I could have the murphy bed and we all could have privacy! It was cheaper than two rooms at a moderate resort at the time we were going.
The bed room has a queen bed and bunk beds, and therefore can sleep 4 people. However, it is very small, not much floor space at all. It does have it's own t.v. though, if I remember correctly. But remember, if mom and dad are in the queen bed, and the kiddies are in the bunk beds, then mommy and daddy get no "private" time. If you have 4 kids, I'd let them sleep in the bed room (let 'em take turns in the bunk beds if that's an issue)and mommy and daddy can be alone in the murphy bed (also a queen sized bed).
The bath room is huge! However, the sink is inside it, so if some one is on the potty or taking a shower, no one can use the sink/mirror. I can't remember if it's a double sink or not, though, sorry! With six, bathroom time could be an issue. I'd try to have some take baths/showers in the evening to avoid a log jam in the mornings. And you can always brush your teeth over the kitchen sink!
The kitchen is small but functional. Good size fridge, stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, and enough dishes, glasses, and silverware for 6. And only six, so you may want to bring paper plates and plastic cups of your own to use. You get pots and pans too, again not many. Our mousekeeper loaded the dishwasher for us and ran it, so all we had to do was unload it when we got back from the parks! I don't know if this is standard or if we got lucky! I beleive there was a grill outside? I think? We didn't use it, that's why I don't remember for sure. I do remember a picknick table outside though!
The living room is smallish but comfortable. It has a tv and VCR. No room once the murphy bed is pulled down from the wall, though, so once the people using it go to bed, you loose the use of the room.
Ft. Wilderness is DARK and QUIET at night! It feels like you really are in the wilderness! Very cool!
The major down side to the cabins is the transportation situation. You have to take the loop bus to get to another bus to take you to the main bus stop so you can take a boat or another bus to the park you are heading to. Takes forever! If you have a car, I highly recomend that you drive to the parks and not take Disney transport (except maybe MK, the boat ride is neat and I hear parking at MK leaves a lot to be desired).
I hope this helps!
