FW cabin questions

Hi All

I asked a couple of questions on the FW Cabin thread but it has been pretty quiet....so here goes again!

If staying at Cabins, are there any that are not a huge hike to the boat launch or bus stops for the parks?

How hard is it to get monorail to epcot, can you actually do this?

Is there lots of free activities for the kids to do?

Do people actually use the kitchen much if on the dining plan?

Any advice is appreciated. We are POly lovers but I need to know the answers about the cabins!!!

You have to take the internal shuttle to get to the buses for the parks or the boat.
You have to either take the bus or the boat to the Magic Kingdom to get to the monorail for Epcot. You can also rent a golf cart to get around the Ft. which is a great time saver.

There are fun activities but I can't remember them. I do know that there is a movie at night with Chip and Dale that's free. You can bring your own stuff to make s'mores or buy a kit for $5.
We used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks.
