When we were little we had these colorform-type toys that were fuzzy (like a short, stiff fuzz). The fuzz was on the front and back and that's how they stuck to the background. I had them around the early seventies, but they may have belonged to my mom or uncle first (it seems like I found them packed away when I was little). I have no idea what they were called, but I'd love to find some again. I've tried to google and ebay, but haven't had much luck.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

We used them at church during Sunday School all the time to illustrate bible stories. We had a bunch of nakey people with clothes to go on them and little backgrounds that they stuck to with mountains, boats, etc. :)

I don't know what they were called though.

Thank you TOV - at least I know I'm not making up memories. :)

No, buzzlady, the fuzz was stiffer and pokier than just regular felt board pieces and there were designs on them - this is coming from a 30+ year old memory, but it seemed almost like a velcro, though not that stiff. I can still smell them, though, isn't that weird?
