We would like to do a tour on our spring trip and the Future world tour sounds like it might be interesting. I would love to hear from people who have done this tour. Give me the good the bad and if you think it was worth doing. Do you get special seating for Illuminations and do you have to watch Illuminations on the same day you do the tour? I look forward to reading your reviews. Thanks.

We did this in July. It was lot's of fun and a ton of interesting 'tid bits' of information. The tour involves a lot of walking although they tend to break it up with some breaks here and there. It was a bit long for our team, everyone said maybe 1 hr shorter would have been nice. You get time for a break in the Land where you can get a bite to eat but other than that it's 4 hours of walking and listening.

You do get special viewing of Illuminations but only on the night of your tour. It's a roped off area by Italy and they keep your names on a clipboard.

The tour itself takes you behind the scens of several attractions and into some closed areas too like the abandon Spaceship Earth sponsor area that is used mostly for storage and special events. We also went into Mission Space right behind the main ride control area that was cool. But they took us into the abandon area above Journey into Imagination and into the closed Life pavilion, a bit boring in those.

All in all I'd sum it up as glad we did it, fun and interesting, would not need to do it again for a long time. Unlike the Segway tour which I'd do everytime we went to EPCOT if I could afford it! :-)
