I've heard of CPs who were offered employment upon finishing the program and I just had a couple of questions.

1. Do you have to apply for employment or do they make the offer?
2. Is is only for the park which you did your program? I'm doing the program at WDW, but I would like to eventually work at DL.
3. What sort of record do you have to have in order to be offered employment?

1. For FT/PT, you have to apply at Casting. Seasonal at current location is done by talking with a manager

2. It would be for whichever park you are working at

3. It helps to keep your record card as clean as possible (and if you want to transfer, you have to meet transfer guidelines).

By transfer guidelines, do you mean within WDW or to DL? If DL, do you know where I can find the transfer guidelines?

Transfers are not easily made between DLR and WDW. You essentially have to quit one location and apply again to the other. Of course that's a very high level overview and there's more to it... but you would not be offered employement at DLR if you are working WDWCP.

At the completion of WDWCP you want to be in good standing (meet transfer guidelines at WDW), so when you end the program you have a favorable rehire status. Then you can apply to DLR.

There was an older couple I worked with on main street that tried to get jobs down at dl but were unsuccessful :(
