Future College Programers

Is anyone who is still in High School already planning to the the WDWCP when they are in college? I will probobly do it the Spring of my Sophomore year which will be 2011 which seems so far away! Is there anyone else already thinking of doing it in 2011? I would love to talk to you because none of my friends really understand lol

I'm doing it, but I'm still a freshman in highschool so it'll be a couple years.
I do plan on doing it during the Spring though. Maybe 2013 or 2014.

I want to do it. You have to have completed one semester of college before you can attend though.

I'm really hoping to do it but when im not sure becausei wanna make sure teh college i go to offers the credits for it. But im hoping to follow a career at Disney so really i will mak any effort to do it even if my college doesnt give credits for it. Spring 2011 sounds good ill have to look ino to that and i know what you mean that your friends dont understand cause my surely dont and neither does my family.

I want do to do it as soon as I can. My friend, who graduated from high school last year, did the Career Start program and spent 4 months down there working before she went to college. She loved it. I can't wait to do the CP program. And I'm definitely doing it in the winter. The colleges that I'm thinking of going to are all in the north so it'll be freezing. But in FL, it'll be kind of warm still! So I'll probably do it the first semester or my sophomore year, which will be in 2010.

I definitely want to do the college program! I'm a sophomore in hs right now, but I guess it's something to consider already. Thinking about it right away, I'd say I'd want to go in the first semester of my sophomore year, which would be 2012. But obviously I have more time to think about it

you sound pretty much the same as me ive been planning some college visits and i will definetly be asking about Disney credit when I go which will really help me choose which College i go to..i hope to be a Resort Management/Hospitality major so I probobly will be able to get some credit since Disney has plenty of resorts and is all about Hospitality

On one hand, it'd seems like a lot of fun and I'd get to be in Disney. On the other hand I don't want it to ruin the magic and I don't know if I want to take that much time out of college.

That is what i was thinking. I dont want to ruin the Disney Magic.

I'm a freshmen in college right now, and you can only apply for the program as a freshmen your second semester. Also, you need to make sure you take care of any scholarship issues or course credits with your counselor before you apply (So around the time they would give the "E-presentation" at your college.

I'm hoping to do the program my junior year (Fall 2011) so I don't know everything yet! [and i apoligize if I said any wrong information...but I don't believe i did...]

I plan on doing it! I want to do it in the spring of my sophomore year too, but that will be in 2012 Looonnngg ways off.

No, I do plan on working there part time though at some point. I go to school right next door so it would be pointless to take off a semester for it. It looks like fun though.

But anyway, I'm actually in the process of applying for it right now. My interview is later today, and hopefully I'll head something back in 2-6 weeks.

My top 3 choices are hospitality, attractions, and recreation.
