FurReal Friends battery question

I was lucky enough to get one and now I'm stumped on the batteries. In small print on the bottom of the box it says it needs 3C/LR14 batteries.

Does anyone know if this means C batteries or is it a smaller special one? The box is sealed and I don't want to rip it apart before DD's birthday on Sunday but I'd like her to be able to play with it once she gets it.

I just checked Hasbro's website and it says it needs "C" batteries. So I would take it that it needs the standard "C" batteries.

I did the same thing Elaine and that's why I'm confused since the box is mentioning 3 batteries. I know some people had posted they had the kitties when I was looking for one so I'm hoping they'll help.

Hey,

I know this:

LR14 (and MN1400) are different ways of denoting a 'C' battery. (I think it is for different countries of manufacture).

So, I would say you need 3 'C' batteries for your kitty.
