OP - thanks for posting! I got one for my granddaughter. She is going to be so excited on Christmas morning! This is what she really wanted and I was struggling with the $100 price. At $50 it was worth it! After seeing this thread at lunch, I called 3 stores and finally found one which they held for me and I was able to pick it up after work.

I went yesterday & they were ringing up on sale for $99 (vs. regular price of $119). The woman in the toy dept. told me it had been $49 on the 19th (one day only where they were matching the online price), but they were no longer that price.
So I wasn't able to get the deal.

Oh man! Sorry My Dsis got mine on the 19th. I thought I had read that they were staying on sale for longer. Maybe they will drop the price again.

My brother went to get one today for DD, it also rang up $99. He bought it anyway, even though I told him not to. He said that my 18yr niece old fell in love with it and refused to leave it behind. So, now my poor brother is buying 2 $99 ponies for Christmas

On the upside, I just saved $99
