Push saw my birthday buuton and got everyone nearby to join him in singing happy birthday to me. Sure did catch my by surprise.

My friend how works at Universal explained to me how it works. The voice is from a person who at the edge of the crowded, blending right in. He sees what is going on and just talks into a tiny microphone. To see him, you would think he was talking to himself, or perhaps on one of those clip on mobile phones. My quess, the voice is electronically altered to make to sound kinda weird and uniquely Push.

We've never seen push in real life!
I tried to watch the videos but only the first one can I even understand what he's saying! When I clicked on the other ones I couldn't hardly understand a word he said.
(however, I'm a bit unnerved by how many children in another video felt the need to KICK him. What is up with that? these were older kids just coming up to him to kick him- not small children like afraid when he came up to him or anything. Just boys randomly kicking him )

My favorite PUSH joke, probably one that gets told a lot:

PUSH rolls up to my DD 9 and me, and asks me my name and where I'm from. I say "Steve, from Arlington,VA."

PUSH then asks my DD9 the same thing: "Emma, from Arlington,VA"

Push gasps in surprise: "Do you know Steeeeeve?"

I hate to admit we've seen the "helper" at AK, even got him in a picture... but I still love the talking trash cans! The lines are hilarious to me-- especially the "drawing all over you" and "do you know Steeeevvveee??". Love it! That's what makes it special

That was PUSH. There's also a talking tree in Animal Kingdom named Wes Palm.

Actually, Wes Palm was "retired" late last year and no longer appears at DAK. Neither does Pipa, the talking recycle bin. They're both gone. PUSH, however, remains!

Well I am glad we got to see Pipa this past Dec. Too bad because the kids just love the talking trees/trash cans/recycle bins. And I have fun watching the kids having fun.
