Oh my. Sorry if these pictures have been posted previously - someone emailed this pic of a "it takes all kinds" rig to my FIL to look (and gasp) at. Can you imagine hooking up to the tailgate?!!! Holy moley!

The really interesting thing about that getup is the trailer is using a gooseneck conversion. Why didn't the guy save some trouble and extend the gooseneck low enough to capture the ball on the hitch. Now that would be a site to see too.

I have seen lots of weirdos. In fact there is a neighbor who built one of those super light weight kit trailers and put high sides on it. He told me he was going to use it to collect copper and other metals for sale. OK! So he kept collecting until it was full. He put a tarp over it and hooked it to his pick up truck. He drove it about 3 miles and the axle collapsed under the massive weight. I bet he had it overloaded by a ton! He drug is back scraping up pavement the whole way home. Maybe this was one of his collaborative projects? HERE'S YOUR SIGN!
