Funny Running Tee Shirt Slogans

A bunch of us who were at the Providence Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon this weekend were talking about funny running slogans they've read on tee shirts. Here are two that people told me about that I thought were funny:

It was a tattoo written across his two calves, and I found it hilarious at that point of my miserable race.

These are all great!

My friend, Sunny, made one on cafepress for me for the first marathon I walked. It said something along the lines of "20 Miles is a long way to walk. 26.2 miles is a life-changing experience"

Oh, and one I have posted on my wall at work after seeing it at a Disney race:
"While running, it is rude to count the people you pass out loud."

My personal favorite is "you've been chicked", followed by "you've been geezered" on the back of a shirt. I once saw a father/daughter group wearing them.

Zombies hate fast food. A graphic of a runner with zombies chasing the runner was on the shirt as well.

OK, love this one!

I manage a running store, so I get to see a lot of funny shirts.

Favorite recent one is " Where the ____ is the finish line?" with the missing word censored out. I believe that will be my marathon shirt for trying to get my goofy this year.

And of course the shirt I have in 5 colors...Running Sucks! It is the only shirt I wear for my training runs right now.

My current favorite:

Kind of appropriate for my summer training runs before the extreme heat finally broke.

I also saw a funny one on a girl dressed as tinkerbell for the princess this year. I didn't see the front of her shirt, but the back said: "I wish I had wings..."

Love it! I have the Liquid Awesome one. My kids go to hug me when I get back from a run, and I always say "watch out, I'm very awesome right now." You can get most of these from One More Mile. Great small business, excellent CS.

I also got one that says "13.1, 'cause I'm only HALF crazy!" I got it right after I registered for the Princess, in long sleeves for winter training, so I haven't worn it yet.

I have the Dear God one, I get lots of laughs on it!

And I just got 3 more, although the slogan are all on front (it's better on back, we spend more time looking at someone's back than their front.... unless you want to get slapped, I guess!)

The other 3 I have are:

I got all mine from One More Mile (both at an Expo and thru mail order)-- they're awesome!
AND! They will have a booth at the Disney Wine & Dine Expo end of Sep/beginning of Oct!
