Man, I feel this one. I think a squirrel got into this little space behind my fireplace. There is a wooden hatch on one side that I opened (have to unscrew it) and as I was pulling it away from the brick I'm pretty sure he touched my fingers! I really have nothing against him - just want him out. I don't think he would be that keen on all the fiberglass insulation in there anyway. I am hoping he will just exit on his own now that I have created a gap. I can hear him scratching at the foam near the hatch though. Ugh!
