Where do they still have apprenticeships? Haven't met a soul doing that since the 90s,
Yup - around here - lots of companies looking for Skilled crafts people with experience - not so much willing to hire untrained or new and give experience…Where do they still have apprenticeships? Haven't met a soul doing that since the 90s,
maybe s/b another thread?
Legit haven't seen one in ages, when we graduated from HS I knew a bunch but not a single one of my kids friends, those who did go into trades simply picked it up from small businesses willing to train because the kids families know people ok with it. Interesting it is still thriving in some areas, good to know.Yup - around here - lots of companies looking for Skilled crafts people with experience - not so much willing to hire untrained or new and give experience…
Union Carpenters start as an apprentice in the US. I'd think many other union job do also.Where do they still have apprenticeships? Haven't met a soul doing that since the 90s,
