What exactly is the difference between a birthday cake and a regular cake?

A birthday cake has frosting and says, "Happy Birthday" on it. A regular cake might or might not have frosting, and it doesn't say "Happy Birthday" on it. (This is not a joke, but just if you really wanted to know...)

My BIL's name is Bryan. My grandmother (since passed at 94) would write "Brain" on his birthday card every year. So. I mail a card to Brain every year in her memory.

I am not sure she ever realized.

I get "Brain" a lot too - not that I mind or anything. I consider it a compliment.
