I usually start by asking if the shake machine is working today.

My first words are, "Are your fries fully cooked or is there a wait." I don't go often but when I hear about the people in the news who got suckered into paying only to wait 20 min off to the side for fries then go berserk the smallest voice inside me says, "I get it."
