My son just told me how much he loved the new one and I shared how nutty the old one was. The book was great, when I saw it the movie you have pictures of came across like someone slipped me shrooms, but that's what happens when non-fans do cult favorites.

That movie, while not true to the book, was the reason I decided to pick up the books and became a fan.
