Every year my family has an ornament exchange during our family get together. This year we decided to change things up a bit and do a "gag" gift exchange. I think it will be fun but I have no idea what to get!:confused3 Any ideas??

Do you have a Spencer gifts store around your area? I think they are usually in mall settings...They have a lot of "stupid" funny, gag type things :santa:

I don't know if you're picking names or not. But if you know who your buying for, I would suggest going to BJ's warehouse or Sam's Club and buy them like a big ole box of their favorite snack.

I know as kids, my parents would buy us a "gag" gift. We absolutely loved it. It was one of our favorite things to get aside from our presents. My sister always got a huge jar of pickles, my brother a huge jar of peanuts and I would get a big box of Peppermint Patties. They were all our favorite snacks.

So essentially, it would be a gag gift but something they would actually eat and enjoy. Just a thought.

If you're looking for something more of a gag gift, I would also try Spencers.

Any huge right wingers in the family? The Obama Chia Pet is a hit.

How about one of those reindeer or snowmen or santas that "poop" brown jellybeans?! Or get all three for a pooping parade! :rotfl: They have these at Walgreens and at Five Below.

If you are not picking out a person you then spencer is great for gifts. But if you know who your bring the gift for then find out something that fits them.

\Example: I give my BIL a gag gift every year. One year he complained that they never had any mustard in his house. So I made him a HUGE basket of all different kinds of Mustard.
This year he has to go to Home and School meetings to be his son's room father(His wife is their daughter room mom sheisn't allowed to be both) He has to make 4 meetings or he can't go on any trips. So I bought him a hat that says MR. HSA.

One year at an office party we did one of those 'steal the present' games - the presents were not opened until the very end, so if you wanted to steal, you had to steal based on packaging only. It was quite fun - there were quite a few wine drinkers in our group, so I got one of those big tacky wine bottle shaped bubble baths, then put it in a tall gift bag that you use for wine, and stuffed the top with tissue paper. People were 'assuming' it was a nice bottle of wine and that got stolen over and over again.
Was pretty funny when the person who ended up with it opened it to find out they had a bottle of bubblebath - not wine! :)
