Funny/embarrasing Story -happened Today!

ok well i went on a school trip for P.E. and we went bowling and so i not a real bowling fan but it do like it for fun and being with my friends. well when i got there i waited for my turn and there was this ball that caught my eye idk why i picked it but i did. so i get up and i am about to roll the ball when i just figured out my thumb was stuck!!! so then i kept my cool so people wouldn't know and played along and stuff. so then i feel it come loose and i finally went to roll it. so i swing the arm back holding onto the ball. and i swing forward about to release to ball from my hand. and notice it did not go right away and it released from my thumb to late. then the ball is flying in the air waiting for it to land on it's destination..... - flying through the air -

LOCATION IN ALLY: i had to be on lane 1 and yes this will explain the rest of the story. well to the left of land 1 there is a area for the workers to go back to the back area if pins are messed up or lanes are not working. well this is where i was located out of all places.... - moving back on to the story -

... Well with the ball still flying in the air and it was stuck on my thumb released late. it flying over my land and onto the walk way where the workers go... and standing embarrased i was frozen and watched it roll back into the back area where workers are....... not knowing what to do and how many people saw it happen i turned around and acted ok. yes, my friends laughed and we made jokes it was hilarious and you had to be there!

SO TODAYS LESSON IS: WHEN YOU GO BOWLING MAKE SURE THE HOLES FOR YOUR FINGERS ARE BIG ENOUGH AND I MEAN WAY BIG!!!

You know how youre not supposed to step over the line where the wax is?

Do you know why?

well bowling shoes have ZERO traction on a slippery surface. think tennis shoes on ice.

I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to step over.

I did.

I slipped.

I hit the floor

I nearly knocked myself out.

BUT

I threw the ball right before hand
and I got a strike.

That was a very funny story. I also feel really bad that happened to you. It's always good to laugh things off because you turn something really embarassing into something totally funny!

Both those stories are great. The wonderful part is that you can find humor in your embarrassments...I still hafta get over that factor. Good for you guys!!!

I have a bowling story. I needed a spare to win, and I was so focused. I went up and rolled the ball straight down the middle. A perfect shot, it would be a strike for sure. Well, I looked behind me to see all my friends laughing hysterically so I looked back. The gate that goes in front of the pins in between tries was still down! The ball hit it with a really loud clang and I messed up the gate! We had to call one of the guys who worked there to help us. No real damage was done, but it was still really embarrassing.

To this day my friends still call me "crash" .
