So I work fully remote. I hear the neighborhood black tomcat on my roof most days. Went to visit him and dang if he didn’t shoot into the warm house!!! I’m screaming cuss words chasing him like crazy! Thankfully grabbed him and tossed him back out. He’s a fleabag or I would have stolen him. I think he’s my next door neighbor’s.

I’m renting an Airbnb until I get settled and can’t have pets. He’s my adopted kitty

Lol I love cats and I love him. He visits me several times a day and gets his evening treats. He’s all tomcat - jumping fences, climbing trees, stirring up trouble…he was not harmed in any way and came back an hour later to hang with me on the steps.

Poor thing, just wanted to get warm. I do feel sorry for outdoor cats. I know it can be controversial, but if I get to sleep inside in a nice warm, dry bed, then so do my pets.

I hope he didn’t leave any fleas behind. . .

He just tried to get in again. I’m in an Airbnb for 4 months so I can’t keep him or he’d definitely be mine.

Kitty Kitty. I know, not original lol. He has a sibling girl kitty that comes around at times. My dude has a dog that would not do well with a cat. Thankfully EK has Moo and Pickle in VA still. I can’t even think about them and Honeybun without crying.

This sort of happened to me as well. I was living in AZ and had an orange tabby that would hang around the house. It did get in a few times and I had to chase it out. At the time my job on me on the road 2-3 weeks a month, so having a cat was not going to happen. A while latter my job petered out and I had to move on. I kept the house though and initially rented it out to my niece and one of her friends. I learned a bit later that my niece had adopted the cat. I still own the house and have been renting it out ever since.
